Having dogs my whole life, I can actually say that I do as much as possible to make sure my dogs are glad and relaxed. I have dogs houses for my dogs even though they sleep in my home. My wife thought I was odd to start with but she now is fully on board with the importance of dogs houses.
Dogs want to spend time outside. They ought to enjoy the fresh air and running all over the lawn. They ought to chase critters big and tiny and do what dogs like to do. I generally let my dogs out in the backyard while my companion and I are at the job. I feel more comfortable leaving my dogs outside because I have dogs houses for them.
The dogs houses are there so they can rest in the shade, take a snooze somewhere relaxing or get out of the elements when the conditions turns a little raw. Admittedly, I do not let my dogs out in the garden when I am not home if the weather report is critical. I will not, however, worry about a swift shower or even several showers because I know they can take comfort within their dogs houses. Even the snow is Okay and my dogs seem to like running in the snow, but then they like to escape in their dog house for a lttle bit too.
I own both large and small dogs and all of them love their dogs houses. At first I was not certain if my 120 American bulldog mix was going to be very delighted slumbering in a dog house, but he loves it. His dog house is big enough to accommodate him and a number of his chew toys. Each of the dogs houses I bought match the character of the dog it is for (plus my family did enhance them a bit).
When I was buying the dog houses I bought high quality houses. I wanted to know that they won't collapse and will actually offer true shelter to my dogs as they sought it or needed it. Worth always pays for itself many times over. I also placed them on a patio that drains correctly so they will not get all grubby if it rains or snows.
My nieces and nephews painted name plaques for the dogs houses and we have made sustaining them and customizing them a family affair. My siblings, their wives and my nieces and nephews have all gotten in on the act and the dogs love it!
My brothers love to ensure that there are no structural problems with the dogs houses. They check them regularly, though I imagine they just find it entertaining and a good excuse to get away from the ladies who love to gossip with my spouse. I can't say I blame them.
The dogs are very much a part of our family and we take as much delight in the dogs houses as we do with our house. I always obtain my dogs houses on the internet, I get better deals and a better assortment. I tried to put together one several years back but determined my hands are better suited for other things.
If you have dogs and you care for them as much as we care for our dogs you need to buy terrific dogs houses and ensure you inspect them, maintain them and restore them when needed.
