A lot of people who want to make some extra cash think it would be a first-rate idea to go into retailing in some way. They also look at this as an avenue to breaking free from a ordinary trade that they are not sad to abandon.
Lots of people are asking themselves if there is a better way to make a living.
They have become disillusioned of the drag of going to work each day to earn some cash. They actually don’t want to work forty to 50 years so they can obtain a rather poor retirement fund when they retire. Once you put all this together with the hassle of the commute it’s no wonder plenty of folk are in the market for other employment.
Some time ago one of my neighbours decided that in order to aid the family income she would open a shop and trade general goods in the village where we live. Consequently she acquired a small lock up that was for sale at a satisfactory price. She then spent some cash doing it out plus decorating etc. Then it required to be stocked so that tied up some more capital. To be fair in a few weeks the mart was open and experiencing a small trade.
After a few months she was making some returns but not a lot and then when you looked at the hours she was having to work, she wasn’t even making minimum wage. After maybe a couple of years things improved somewhat but then other people opened stores consequently there was more and more traders chasing a piece of the pie.
The neighbours dream was dashed and she sold up and put it down to experience.
After reading a story like this, which more than likely has been repeated in your own neighbourhood. You would more than likely be saying to your self, “if anybody suggests to me about buying a store, I’ll run a mile.”
So in the light of all I’ve said.
I am happy to announce I own a shop. I’m not mad. I don’t shell out rent or a mortgage or laid out any funds. I own no stock or workforce. I have just about zero costs. I just benefit from the income.
If you’d said to me not to long ago that I would be operating a store, I wouldn’t have believed you.
In fact I like to believe I own a superstore because I sell a broad variety of things such as travel and short breaks, energy and cellular phone services along with the Internet and broadband are just some of the items.
Moreover I do it all from a laptop, which means I can be anyplace in the world and still make cash, and you could too by means of an affiliate program.
People order stuff from an assortment of website links and the retailers dispatch it or book it and collect the money. All I do next is have sent recurrent payments from the likes of Google into my bank account. I don’t have to hang around for purchasers or go knocking on their doors. They find me in ever-increasing numbers. As more and more people come on-line and buy more and more stuff. The potential is looking bright. I love owning a mart or stores on the internet. Long live shopping.
